We collect your email address, username, date of birth, and payment information when you create an account. We also collect content you upload, interactions you make (likes, follows, purchases), and basic usage data such as pages visited and features used.
We use your data to operate the platform, process payments, send transactional emails, personalise your feed, and improve our service. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell your data to third parties.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data. You can review it at stripe.com/privacy.
Content you upload is stored securely in our cloud storage. Public content is visible to all users. Subscriber-only and pay-per-view content is only accessible to users who have paid for access. You retain ownership of all content you upload.
The Being Watched Now feature tracks which posts are currently being viewed. We only store an anonymous session token — no user identity, IP address, or account information is linked to view data. This session token resets on every page load.
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days. Content you have posted may be retained for up to 90 days after deletion for abuse prevention purposes.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can request a copy of your data or request deletion by contacting privacy@velvet-sole.com. EU and UK users have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability.
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. Access to user data is restricted to authorised personnel only. We conduct regular security reviews of our systems.
